What the beach has

On the sandy part of the shore there is a beach with parasols, sun loungers, changing cabins, showers, toilets, benches and tables. There are also sports pitches, a children’s playground and a campsite, and a restaurant serving local and international dishes (Vojvodina Travel). The beach and the campsite in the wood were laid out in 2011 (edukacija.rs).

The beach takes 1,500–2,000 bathers a day and has courts for beach volleyball and water polo (Turizmopedija, edukacija.rs).

Safety

  • There is no lifeguard; you swim at your own risk (Vojvodina Travel).
  • The first ten metres or so from the shore are shallow (Turizmopedija), then the bottom drops quickly to 19 m. Don’t let children into the water alone.

Entry and parking

Cars pay an environmental fee; pedestrians and cyclists enter free (Turizmopedija). Check the amount on site.
